Rush – 2023-2024 Recruitment Sets New Record
Unlike years gone by with large fall new member classes, freshman deferred rush means the scenario flips. Sophomores with a year of school under their belt come out in the Fall, producing a small tight-knit class, while the Freshman swarm the Highlands in the Spring when we see the traditional large classes.
Fall 2023
Rush Chairman Josh Kleinhandler began the new school year with a bang, coordinating Zone Day followed by multiple events at the house to highlight all Chi Phi has to offer. Nine men accepted bids, and 8 were ultimately initiated into the “Chi” Class:

Spring 2024
Following Fall open house events where Freshman looking to live off-campus can visit fraternities, many previewing life at The Kingdom, Spring Rush Chair Michael Menaker assembled a capstone effort to secure bid acceptances from more than 27 quality young men for the “Psi” new member class. As Alpha Delta moved into its centennial, echoes of the 100th anniversary of the 50th Kentucky Derby adorned the thematic accoutrement for the Spring, and Rush was no exception. Rush dinners, hangouts, movie and sports nights all showcasing Chi Phi camaraderie, socials, and brotherhood captured a total of 33 new brothers, including the son of former Alpha and Alumni Advisor, Aaron Gustkey ’92.
