Alpha Delta Chapter of Chi Phi was established in 1924. 

Chi Phi was founded by Thomas Capehart, Augustus Flythe, John C. Tucker, William H. Green, Fletcher T. Seymour, and James J. 

The Chi Phi flower is White Chrysanthemum. 

The Chi Phi motto is, “Truth, Honor and Personal Integrity”.

The most famous alumni from Chi Phi are:

  • Gerald L. Phillippe, President of General Electric Company
  • Douglas C. North, 1993 Nobel Prize in Economics Recipient
  • Rear Admiral James K. Shafer, Former Assistant US Surgeon General
